Teen Assaulted After Unknowingly Drinking Alcohol With Forks Man: PD

An Easton man was arrested Tuesday, September 24, 2024 for assaulting a teen who he had provided with alcohol, according to the police.

Joseph Anastasi, 32, was charged with two misdemeanors for Indecent Assault and Selling or Furnishing Liquor to a Minor, according to the Forks Township Police Department.

The investigation began on August 17, 2024 when police responded to the 800 block of Iron Lane in Easton for the report of an assault on a teen. The teen told police that Anastasi gave them a clear plastic water bottle containing vodka before inappropriately touching them without consent.

Police reviewed Ring camera footage of the incident leading to the current charges.

Anastasi is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on December 2, 2024, according to the court docket.
